Jiang He Serves Damn Fine Fried Chicken

Jiang He Fried Chicken

Jiang He Restaurant in Bukit Bintang according to its loyal followers is an unassuming fried chicken restaurant that will rival any Korean fried chicken — it’s god-sent. No words can describe just how good Jiang He fried chicken’s irresistible crunchy skin and succulent juicy meat is. You have to try to know.

You wouldn’t think of fried chicken when you’re in Bukit Bintang. After all, Bukit Bintang is Kuala Lumpur’s shopping metropolis. Plus there’s just so much more to eat.

But if you do — and you should — this fried chicken is going to leave you wanting more.

This is hands-down Kuala Lumpur’s best fried chicken. You must definitely add this to your eating itinerary. Jiang He Restaurant’s ultra crispy and juicy fried chicken.

This chic is rare

Chicken runs out fast — Jiang He’s fried chicken is rare. It’s not always available and when it is the limited quantity quickly gets snapped up by customers. I learned that some days it’s there and mostly it’s not. Fried chicken is usually only available for lunch on Wednesdays.

The best chic in town

I’m staking a claim here. Jiang He is Kuala Lumpur’s best place for crunchy juicy fried chicken.

My very first bite of the fried chicken was greeted with a very satisfying crunch. Simply just wow. And what surprised me the most was how they’ve managed to keep the meat inside juicy. This experience was beyond satisfying.

The flavour and aroma permeating from the chicken is unbelievable.

Skip the rice and have 2 chickens. Or have it with rice. Regardless of how you decide to enjoy your fried chicken, don’t forget the freshly blended chillies. The acidity and heat from the chillies adds a whole new dimension of flavour to the fried chicken.

My recommendation: Choose your crispy fried chicken together with the rice and chillies (the standard set). Buttery aromatic rice together with Kuala Lumpur’s best fried chicken, there’s very little to say but to just eat.

Finger-lickin’ good

There are not many crispy fried chicken that I hold in such high regard. I just can’t forget the crunch on my very first bite. Connoisseurs of fried chicken would understand the unbounded joy of this experience.

This is an unexpected place to find KL’s best crispy fried chicken. But I’d say Jiang He Restaurant is definitely worth a detour.

Ambience

Kopitiam vibes. Warm and busy during lunch.
